Many stories to tell. Bit tired though and need to spend time with the Crew et al.

Will say though, if you ever get a chance to spend time with the lovely folks at BCUK or BLOG.CA, do it!

They are lovely.

Luton

by RunDontWalk @ 2008-05-11 - 14:13:58

I'm here sat at the public internet thingy at the Holiday Inn Express. Made it to Luton in one piece and have no idea how.

My schedule (printed and prepared in Canada) had me getting to Luton from Greenwich in about 90 minutes. Little did I know that the bastids would be doing maintenance work on some rail ways (fookers) so it took me about 2 1/2 hours and I have no idea how I got here.

Little did I know that you were suppose to ring the stop 'effing button on the express bus from Luton Airport Parkway to Luton Airport and I was wandering around at the airport looking for the Holiday Inn Express shuttle bus.

Double the fookers!!!

At the airport, I decided I was starving, ordered a Big Whopper McThingy, fries and a mofo coke as dude convinced me it was cheaper, I mean realllly, did the few coins I was saving matter worth it??? as I managed to spill the whole large coke all over the 'effing floor in plain view of the Arrivals and food court *eegit*

Luton Airport has been christened by Meno.

Had a wonderful time at the Giypsy Moth...so many folks were there Jenray, Ray, Jacobite, NotBob, Faffajane, Nigel, Louisa, Chyna Doll, Shipscook, Old Nick, Mrs F, Rowtheboat, TKK (btw, I just clued into who you were this morning *duh* have never seen your pic and shame on me for not buying you that beer I promised; seems like I owe you 2 now), MJ, Eggbod and Rubychoo...did I forget anyone? My apologies as I have shit for brains at the mo.

To each and every one of you...you are ebautiful and I thank you for being my friend.

Talked to Juzzy on the phone *ace* wish you woulda been there hunny.

Jackfrost and his wee feller stopped by my hotel to say *bless*

Going out for dinner with Faffa and Louisa tonight *beautiful*

Looking forward to it.

Head out to Berlin tomorrow and Rampie, Padders and Brad best be saving some snealy beers for me.

don't bite the hand that feeds ya

cue breakfast this morning

Ma: Er, don't think I shoulda given the Trio that homemade celery soup with their dog food.

Da: Why?

Ma: Cos it is a little spicy.

Da: Thanks Ma. You are going away and I bet the Trio gets the shits.

*crosses her fingers behind her back*

Ma: oh, no Da. They will be fine.

My question to you folks...is it wrong to snigger inside at the potential dilemma facing hubby? Believe me, I would never want any harm to come to my dogs *angels* but the dirty deed has been done, soup has be tossed out to avoid further mishaps and once again, I have managed to ignite the flames of disaster without breaking a sweat.

I know I have not responded to comments on my blog. Truly sorry. I will give you my undivided attention when I return home.

EDITED: I have decided that any form of sniggering is naughty (at least in this case ^^^) and I have since suspended this immature behavior.

Bad Meno!

Can she do it?

by RunDontWalk @ 2008-05-07 - 12:15:21

8 days, 1 woman and a carry-on suitcase.

Think I can stuff 8 days of living a Meno life into one carry-on suitcase?

The biggest article of clothing to stuff into the carry-on will be my 'effing granny pants. A gal really should change her underwears every day.

Not taking the lappy.

Will be taking my DS to play some games but that will be carted around in my mofo hand bag that is expandable. 'Sa nice one too.

In other news, my endometriosis has flared up (yet again) but I have discovered that there is an endometriosis clinic in downtown Toronto at Women's College Hospital *does a Happy Dance* and my doctor is gonna refer me to the specialists there.

TA DA!

I am beginning to think that the endo is around to remind me that life is precious, don't waste a second and to enjoy every moment you can.

I have learned that it will never go away but can be managed and I can live with that.

2 more days..........

just let me be me

by RunDontWalk @ 2008-05-07 - 02:00:29

I was watching a teevee show the other day and during one segment, there was a an adult woman and her father sitting and taking about the father's expectations of his daughter.

The father proceeded to tell his daughter that he wished she would find a young man to fall in love with so she could raise a family.

And the sadness displayed on her face and ever so deep down in her eyes was breathtakingly overwhelming for I could never imagine not being able to love the one that I do, for the one she loved was a she and not a he.

Sad to me that was.

Dunno why people can not understand that love has no boundaries, no limits and for one to know love and be loved, now that is the miracle to behold.

the ramblings of a mad woman #2

Slept like a Meno baby last night.

Feeling refreshed.

I gets my anniversary present tonight *YAY*

Hubby is gonna buy some 'spensive bubbly and we shall 'celebrate' *winks* this Thursday. It's a week early but I'll be celebrating wif Mira, Ships, Mrs F and Nick in MiraLand on the actual day *double YAY*

Baby Java chicks are so dang cute. They are curious about their environment and poke their head out of the nest to see what's going on. They haven't fallen out again and as far as I know they haven't left the nest to explore their surroundings.

Tried to load some pics of them from my new camera and couldn't think Vista is being a llwnt as the problem could not possibly be me *don't bet on it!*

Have a great day.........

air guitar

by RunDontWalk @ 2008-05-05 - 14:30:11

On the weekend, I let Neil Young fill the Meno airwaves and when his song Cinnamon Girl came on, hubby decided he had to bop all over the house playing his air guitar.

*calm down thinks I*

He lurves riffs that stir his creativity, hence pretending he was an aging rock star playing an imaginary guitar.

The only thing missing was the spliff.

Har.

In other news, the Emerald Isle has been fairly quiet this past weekend which is highly suspect as Padders & Brad had some guests this weekend who are, um, known to enjoy the drink a wee bit.

And no.

I will not release any further info.
