This is my first year in the secret Santa thingy as I watched from afar last year and I think I am gonna like it. I gave Lyndlj the number seven as my number of choice and wondered what the heck was gonna happen.

I was surprised on one hand to know that my lucky number 7 directed me to my lovely Soy and yet, I was not surprised as well for my lucky number 7 usually guides me to the right path, if you will.

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you, my very lovely friend and little sister, Soyunperdedor.

I discovered Soy, oh so long ago, as I was clicking this blog, then clicky clicky onto to the next blog and lo and behold, I had stumbled upon a rare gem of a human being.

I found her words witty, hysterically funny, warm, delightful and yes, at times, heart-wrenchingly poignant for she has a way with words that can describe a scene, a moment in time, the here-and-the-now that makes you feel you are sat right beside her instead of being a gazillion miles away.

Soy loves muffins, jaffa cakes, junk food, mucho boozo, fish, fish and more fish and has dared to venture into the Land of Gerbils recently when gasp, shock and horror, she thought that one of the gerbils were preggers but was reassured that oh no, they are NOT with baby gerbils but in fact, may have indulged in a bit of dry humping.

If you are a student, I suggest you tread carefully whilst in SoyLand and never, ever approach her with a frown and a complaint unless you have chocolate that you are willing to surrender as you lodge the complaint.

I do believe Soy’s appeal for me and most assuredly others is her genuine heart, her kindness, her charm, compassion and her love for animals. I do see a quiet confidence simmering deep inside and when it finally ignites she will surely set the world on fire.

Soy, may you have a very Merry Christmas, a smashing New year and may all your dreams and hopes come true.

Luffs you.
