Watching a teevee program on Deutschland and the dude was saying that they be the country famous for their beer.

How could a country possibly outdo any Canadian beer *thinks Labatt's Blue et al* let alone my second fav beer, the delectable, tasty, scarf-more-than-one-and-you-shit-through-the-eye-of-a needle beer, Guinness????

I'm definitely a Guinness girl - but only when served in a beautiful old Irish pub. Just ain't the same anywhere else. I hafta be careful though, as my hubby & inlaws are teetotal, so I have to make do with one or two at a time in order not to make a blithering idiot of myself (or even worse start saying what I truly think....)
As for shitting through the eye of a needle - well it was worth it.......

If I'm ever given a choice of Becks, Buweiser or Budvar I'd go for the Budvar. It's the Polish beer that the Americans stole.
But I don't drink that kind of beverage. It doesn't taste of apples.

team Becks is rancid (don't tell nittygritty I said that...they're both from Bremen...)
But there are some wonderful German beers. Nothing close to Guinness, but great nonetheless.
I will make sure to have my fridge full of many different types so we can do a taste test.
