  • air guitar

On the weekend, I let Neil Young fill the Meno airwaves and when his song Cinnamon Girl came on, hubby decided he had to bop all over the house playing his air guitar.

    *calm down thinks I*

He lurves riffs that stir his creativity, hence pretending he was an aging rock star playing an imaginary guitar.

The only thing missing was the spliff.

    Har.

In other news, the Emerald Isle has been fairly quiet this past weekend which is highly suspect as Padders & Brad had some guests this weekend who are, um, known to enjoy the drink a wee bit.

    And no.

I will not release any further info.

  • Meno's army

For the past 4 weeks, I have been cooking and freezing meals for hubby to heat up and scarf whilst I am off trotting around.

Yesterday, I had a peek in the deep freezer and in the freezers in the fridge downstairs and upstairs (yes we have two, whoop-de-doo; oh, looky there, it rhymes :>>).

I have cooked enough food to feed a small army for a month.

Can you ever have too much?

    It would appear so.

Today is NOT a Bank Holiday here in MenoLand but we do have one coming up two weeks today called Victoria Day or something, It is to celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday if memory serves me correct (and you know how THAT goes)

    Enjoyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • nothing..

    ...beats a home-cooked meal.

We had roasted peppery-orange chicken, mashed potatoes and buttery peas & corn.

    YUMMERS!

I had a busy day today.

Was my own doing but at the end of it all, I felt fulfilled.

Fish tanks cleaned, bird cages buffed, the Trio walked, bakery done, baked goods scarfed, a little chimichanga wif the ole man :>> and that was my Sunday.

Only 5 days to get through, busty working during the day and have some evening obligations a couple of days *poo* but the week shall go by fastttttttttt!

    Have a grand Monday....
