Was watching a commercial with a woman fully preggers and such, confident with her belly out to THERE and that got me thinking.
I never really enjoyed being pregnant.
There.
I've said it.
I felt out of place, totally fat and disgustingly overwhelmed.
Some folks thrive on being pregnant and love every second of it and that's beautiful.
I admire women who experience pregnancy and embrace it with open arms.
Unfortunately, I was not one of 'em.
No one put a gun to my head and forced me to get pregnant. I did it willingly and rather naively I might add. I truly had no idea what I was getting into. But then, not many of us do, now do we?
I think that my experience being pregnant was compounded by the fact that I was too young to be birthing babies and I was in an abusive relationship.
How could I enjoy being pregnant?
Not being a victim but merely stating the facts.
Having said what I have, I would truly love to hear your stories of pregnancy or what you think being pregnant will/would mean to you for the miracle of giving birth is just that, a miracle.
