Coulda labeled this post as 'gah!' but errrr, nope, I decided to be positive!

I did something uncharacteristic of me......

.............wait for it......

.......I.....cleaned...

Can you imagine?

Hubby's the cleaner. I am the cooker but hey, I gotta pull my own weight.

I sorted out the cupboards in the kitchen and you can actually put stuff in the cupboard and take stuff out without cussing up a storm.

Had no obligations or visitors this weekend *prays be to Gawd* which was nice as we could steadily progress on things we need to do.

Weekends after that are B.U.S.Y. so a break was great.

Made some BBQ ribs today, marinated all day it did, with special Meno BBQ sauce basted 5 times and then cooked slowlyyyyyyy for 90 minutes....deeeevine!

What I lurve about the summer is the fresh veg and fruit bursting forth and just begging to be eaten. YUM!

not a bad sunday in Montreal, actually 4 straight w/o rain,
sunny, 24-26 C - nice! it's about time!

Hope u enjoyed ur ribs, they sound delish, spent the day.....going to B&Q to pick up rollers for Mo (well he was doing the painting, so what can i say?) then going to Tesco to get the dinner in, was cooking for 6 instead of 4 and stuff for Jades lunch tomorrow for school, then dropping my neice off and finally dropping Natalies friend home could finally relax at 10.45 but that is just a normal day for me. x

Spent most of the day in bed which is the best thing I can do with a nasty cold. Even the teeth hurt. On the positive side it gave me time to dream of my garden - going to have a Japanese flavor to it.

I remember your telling me about the strict division of labour and I was SO impressed. " Only when the desire to clean strikes" I remember you saying Nice when that happens. Very seldom with me

I started my day in divine decadence and then sprung into action as a friend invited herself over for dinner , bringing wine I love these spontaneous visits. It was a misty humid, dark and spooky day .. but lovely by candlelight
